Operational software built from operational experience
DSLCore grew from more than thirty years of work around maintenance, heavy equipment, workshops, reporting, asset management and coastal shipping operations.
Across those environments, the same pattern appeared repeatedly: important operational knowledge was spread across spreadsheets, reports, forms, partial system workflows, local databases and the experience of the people doing the work.
These tools were rarely meaningless or accidental. They contained the real structure of the operation, but that structure was implicit, fragile and difficult to maintain.
DSLCore was developed to make that structure explicit and turn it into working software.
The aim is not to replace every system. It is to provide focused operational applications that work alongside existing enterprise, engineering and monitoring platforms, while remaining adaptable as the operation changes.
